Taking the World Back to 8bit,
One Fandom at a Time!
Hello, & welcome to Madam FANDOM! I'm Kris, the owner, creator, & designer for this 8bit geek shop!
Hello, & welcome to Madam FANDOM! I'm Kris, the owner, creator, & designer for this pixel geek shop!
I see myself as a Madam of Fandom, and to me, Fandom isn't just geeky stuff, it can be ANYTHING you're passionate about; tv shows, movies, books, hobbies, video games, occupations, anything! I love to talk to fans of all genres, & believe in a world where Star Trek fans & Star Wars fans can co-exist peacefully.
I've been creating with Perler Beads for almost 15 years. What started as a "favorite church craft night activity", has blossomed into a full blown obsessive love! Over the years I've developed unique skills and technique in melting the beads, to create solid, sturdy items that are far beyond the run-of-the-mill.
I also work very hard to create my own unique pixel/bead designs inspired by fandoms! Anyone can copy something from Google, but I want my customers to have something truly created by me, from start to finish.
When I'm not creating, I love poking around on Pinterest (or internet hoarding, as it should be called), attempting to keep the plants on my patio alive (gardening, right?), & teaching my wee one the ways of The Force.
